Bobak Nazer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. He completed his graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley where he received the M.S. degree in 2005 and the Ph.D degree in 2009, both in electrical engineering and computer sciences. Prior to this, he was an undergraduate at Rice University where he received the B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering in 2003. From 2009 to 2010, he was a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. 

 

He is the recipient of the IEEE Communications Society and Information Theory Society Joint Paper Award in 2013, the NSF CAREER Award in 2013, the Dean's Catalyst Award from the BU College of Engineering in 2011, and the Eli Jury Award from the UC Berkeley EECS Department in 2009. He co-organized the Workshop on Interference in Networks at Boston University in 2012.
