Frequently Asked Questions
How large may my poster be?
Although the email announcement referred to "easels," the posters will actually be pinned to fabric walls. By our calculations each student will have at least 9 feet of horizontal space. So any reasonably sized poster will fit.
As usual, the school will last 5 days. Each day will start with a morning tutorial given by a distinguished researcher. The morning session will last from 9am until 1pm with one half-hour coffee break in the middle.
There will be afternoon sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, during which the students will give short presentations of their own research results. The school will conclude on Friday following the morning tutorial. Wednesday afternoon is left free for social activities.
