The school is open to researchers in the field of information theory. Priority will be given to PhD students; however, postdocs and faculty members will also be admitted space permitting.

Frequently Asked Questions

How large may my poster be?

Although the email announcement referred to "easels," the posters will actually be pinned to fabric walls. By our calculations each student will have at least 9 feet of horizontal space. So any reasonably sized poster will fit.

 

Program Overview

As usual, the school will last 5 days. Each day will start with a morning tutorial given by a distinguished researcher. The morning session will last from 9am until 1pm with one half-hour coffee break in the middle. 

There will be afternoon sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, during which the students will give short presentations of their own research results. The school will conclude on Friday following the morning tutorial. Wednesday afternoon is left free for social activities.

Technical Co-sponsorship Guidelines

Conferences seeking technical co-sponsorship, but not financial backing, of the IEEE IT Society, must submit an application.
