A year-long celebration on the legacy of George Boole and Claude Shannon was held in 2016.
'Conversations on George Boole, the Legacy Interviews' is a project to understand the impact of George Boole's ideas and Shannon's remarkable work on modeling switching using Boolean algebra. Several ITSOC members participated via a series of talks at MIT, all of which is available at the main project site.
