Description:

The selected candidate will work with NYU Profs. Elza Erkip and Siddharth Garg on problems at the intersection of information theory, internet privacy and security, and network science. The selected candidate will enjoy considerable flexibility in defining and addressing important problems in this emerging research area. Additionally, the candidate is expected to participate in relevant education and research activities at NYU WIRELESS, CATT and CCS.  The appointment will be for a period of 12 months, renewable by mutual agreement for another year.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a Ph.D degree, a strong foundation in information theory, strong publication record and excellent oral and written communication skills.
