Professor Andrea Goldsmith made a presentation at the Board of Governor's meeting in San Diego in February to report on the activities of the Ad Hoc Committee and the need for diversity initiatives with IEEE more broadly. As a result of the Ad Hoc Committee's work, the Technical Activities Board (TAB) of the IEEE established a new committee focused on diversity and inclusion.
