Daniel J. Costello,  Emeritus Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, has been named the recipient of the 2015 IEEE Leon K. Kirchmayer Graduate Teaching Award, f or profound and lasting contributions to graduate education in coding, information theory, and digital communications.
