Successful candidates will pursue fundamental research on advanced technologies for future intelligent networked systems, with applications to robotics and autonomous systems, real-time networking, smart IoT, and cyber-physical systems.
Research topics include, but are not limited to, Communication and Information Theory, Semantics of Information, Intelligent Distributed Systems, and Networked Control.

Required skills and knowledge
- Strong mathematical background.
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Solid knowledge on at least one of the following areas: communication and information theory, signal processing, wireless networking, optimization, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science.
- Strong publication record in top notch conferences and journals (for experienced researchers).
- Very good interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
