There is an opportunity for an early career researcher to participate in
a new research project, focusing on Reliable Communication in Wireless
Cooperative (Relay) Networks under Channel Uncertainty, funded by the
Australian Research Council (ARC), at the Australian National
University, Canberra, Australia. The project aims to develop theory for
understanding the fundamental limits of reliable information transfer in
cooperative networks in the presence of channel estimation errors,
receiver mismatch to the channel, and noisy/delayed feedback from the
receiving nodes to the transmitter. The project also investigates novel
information combining strategies to maintain high throughput in the
presence of link failures in the network.
