Applications are invited for a University Lectureship in Information and Data Science. The successful candidate will join the Signal Processing and Communications Laboratory in the Department of Engineering to add to its expertise in Information Science and Data Science. We encourage applicants who will strengthen our current research activities in modern information theory, inference, data science, signal processing, and their connections with machine learning, including applications in communications, networking, privacy and cybersecurity.

In exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to offer a supplement to the salary range stated for this role of up to 12.5% / £6576 for a five-year period. Any such supplement would be awarded on the basis of a demonstrable history of exceptional achievement and is entirely at the discretion of the University.
