Area: Cyber-security in the smart grid
Postdoctoral associate needed to investigate the cyber-security of transmission and distribution networks in smart grids. Applicants should have a strong background in power systems along with strong mathematical skills and knowledge of power systems software. The research goals are to understand threats and countermeasures (both in theory and in simulations) for cyber-attacks against distribution and transmission networks. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, able to move into a research area where few have gone before without hesitation, and eager to work with masters or PhD students.
