The 2012 IEEE Communications Theory Workshop

Scope: The Communication Theory Workshop (CTW) brings together leading researchers in industry and academia working on topics related to communication theory to present current results in a relaxed atmosphere. As with past workshops, the 2012 CTW will be single track and feature 5 invited sessions, 2 invited panels and plenary talks from Prof. Gregory W. Wornell (MIT), Dr. Madhu Sudan (Microsoft Research, New England) and Dr. Nambi Seshadri (Broadcom).
Call for Posters: The technical program committee is soliciting contributions for early-evening poster sessions devoted to recent results. We especially encourage students and junior researchers to participate. There will be no published proceedings. Any contribution in the general area of communication theory is welcome. Extended abstracts (2 pages maximum, double column, 10 pt, IEEE style file) for the poster session should be submitted by March 1, 2012. Electronic submissions must be in Adobe PDF format, and of sufficient detail to permit careful reviewing. Acceptance notifications will be sent on March 22, 2012.
The advance registration deadline is April 5, 2012.
Submission Instructions: Poster extended abstracts of no more than 2 pages (US letter size 8.5 x 11 inches) using font size 10, double column and the IEEE style file in Adobe PDF format should be submitted to the Poster Chair Vijay Subramanian (v-subramanian at northwestern.edu ). The extended abstract should includes all figures and references, as well the names of the authors, affiliations and email addresses. Please indicate "IEEE CTW 2012 Poster Submission" as the subject of the email. All submissionswill be acknowledged.
