Description:
The Communications Systems department at EURECOM, Sophia Antipolis, France, invites applications for several full time tenured faculty positions. Both junior and more experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. In order to complement our current activities, we seek candidates already pursuing research in the all areas of advanced communication systems and future networks including both electrical engineering and computer science profiles. Candidates are expected to be publishing their research in top IEEE and/or ACM conferences and journals. Candidates will contribute to and benefit from the department's strong presence in collaborative projects (Horizon Europe, ANR) and its projects with key international industry R&D labs in the field. The selected candidates will also contribute to EURECOM’s masters level teaching program. We welcome outstanding candidates with a proven research and teaching record in some of the following areas:
- Communication theory
- Information theory and coding
- Signal processing for communication systems
- Network theory
- Modeling and performance analysis for next-generation networks
- AI/ML methods for communication systems and networks
- Analytical approaches to distributed computing and networking
- Theoretical aspects of autonomous networks
Requirements: Candidates must have a Ph.D in computer science, telecommunication or electrical engineering and have previously published cutting edge research results at an international level. A past experience in working and building collaborative projects is a definite advantage.
