The hotel is located next to the Tallinn old town, just 5-10 minutes walk from the major touristic attractions. It is known as one of the famous Tallinn landmarks.

Please note that it is possible to book a place in a twin room. If you provide a name of another person attending the School, you will be paired up with that person. Otherwise, you will be paired up with another participant by the Conference Secretariat. In the latter case, the room is booked for a period of April 13th-18th, and further changes are not allowed.

Tallinn is home to about 500 thousand inhabitants, and is a progressive and dynamic city with a millenary history. Tallinn offers all the infrastructure and facilities of a global technology hub, combined with highly attractive tourism opportunities. The picturesque Old Town, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, is a unique pearl of medieval architecture, considered as one of the most intact medieval city centers in the world. Other major attractions include the Tallinn Zoo, the Botanical Gardens and many galleries. The Old Town offers countless dining opportunities in a few minutes walking radius from the school hotel. The school participants will not miss home at any moment, since Tallinn’s city centre is almost fully blanketed with free-of-charge WiFi.

Tallinn Airport (TLL) has good connections with most of the European cities, with direct flights from Frankfurt, London, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Brussels, Moscow, Kyiv, Istanbul, Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm. It also has highly frequent connections with Helsinki and with Riga from where most other major European hubs can be reached. Helsinki also has connections with far-east Asia (e.g. Hong-Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing) and North America (New York and Toronto).
